I founded Write Foot Forward in 2004, fueled by passion for engaging students of all abilities and a desire to help families navigate and demystify the ever-evolving college admissions landscape. 

 

I offer a highly individualized, ethical, affordable approach, and I enthusiastically share my knowledge from 19 years of experience in college counseling. I am a partner, mentor, and student-focused advocate. I support the tireless work of school counselors, independent counselors, and admissions professionals.

 

I earned a BA in English from the College of William & Mary and spent a decade in corporate human resources, working in employee relations and career development. I reside in Northern Virginia with my family, but I am fortunate to work with students across the country.
